Our senior Conservation Architect, Michael Howarth, will today set off on a 900-mile month-long cycle ride through Greece, Italy, Sardinia, Corsica and France. All in aid of charity.
Michael, accompanied with three friends who have a combined age of 250, will pass the Giro d’Italia cycle race as well as following some of the Tour de France route. They hope to arrive back in Britain towards the end of May. Follow all their efforts through their blog.
They hope to raise money in aid of the local Weldmar Hospice Trust and the national Macmillan Cancer Support as joint beneficiaries, see virginmoneygiving for donations.
We wish him well and look forward to all his stories and photographs on his successful arrival.
