We work with you to develop designs that meet your requirements.
Once you are happy with the proposals, we prepare drawings for applications for Planning Permission, Listed Building Consent, and Conservation Area Consent, as required.
We also prepare supporting documentation, (including the Design and Access Statement that is often required), complete the application forms on your behalf, and liaise with the Local Authority.
For complex Planning or Access matters, we recommend the involvement of our Consultant, Michael Kelly, whom has a wide range of experience as a practitioner in Town and Country Planning and as a Disability Access Advisor. He served from 1977 to 1999 as Deputy Planning Officer with Weymouth and Portland Borough Council with particular responsibility for planning applications, appeals and enforcement and building control.
Since then his experience has very usefully mixed work as a planning consultant for private clients and architectural practices together with continued work for planning authorities.
With regard to access advice he additionally worked as Access Officer for Weymouth and Portland Borough Council from the setting up of Weymouth and Portland Access Group in 1989, and liaised with Dorset County Council and other organisations. Since 1999 he has continued to advise Weymouth and Portland Access Group and holds office as its President. Michael is both a member of the Access Association and the Royal Town Planning Institute.
